Fresh Fiesta Taco Night!! Comfort Food!

I decided to spice things up a bit tonight for the fam and made some fun raw tacos with a raw sour cream. It was great. Everyone loved it. My husband's day job is very labor intensive and he still manage to get that full sensation from this meal. I really think he appreciates the comfort of the foods concept being something he is familar with in the cooked world. For some it is not neccessary to make mock foods but for others it what keeps them from straying off the path because of the emotional ties we tend to have with food.I think the key to successfully conquering cooked comfort food cravings is to really dig deep into what is really making you want to turn to food to make you feel better in the first place. I know it might not be easy to come up with the answers at first but maybe you might benefit from keep a journal. Write down your cravings and what your emotional state was like during the craving. Eventually you should be able to look back in your writings and see a pattern. Its more to holistic health than just diet. Below I am going to share my Kick A#% Guacamole recipe. This one goes over great with the Children.
